Anjou and Scalora Optometrists offer a range of treatment options for dry eye including Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) and Blephasteam.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy for the treatment of dry eye is a new innovative treatment using intense pulsed light to stimulate the meibomian glands and help restore normal tear film structure. IPL treatment for dry eyes is non-invasive, painless, safe and effective in 80% of patients affected by dry eye disease.
Blephasteam is a device that delivers moist heat therapy at a stable temperature and in a controlled environment. Blephasteam has been shown to be effective in the management and treatment of lid disorders and MGD.
